Firmware / Software Engineer (f/m/d)
Your tasks
- As part of the firmware team, you will be given responsibility for the execution of the entire software development process, e.g. by
- Writing well-designed, testable code according to the architecture specifications
- Writing automated tests and integrate them in our CI/CD system
- Reviewing the code and work of your peers
- Integrating software components into a fully functional software system
- Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing systems
- Documenting and maintaining software functionality
- You will evaluate the development effort and complexity of the proposed solutions.
- You develop proof of concepts to explore innovative technologies and functionalities.
- We look forward to your ideas for new and more efficient techniques, tools and processes.
Your qualifications
- With a degree in engineering, computer science or a comparable field, you have already laid the groundwork.
- You have a good level of professional experience as a software developer or software engineer.
- You can use your team spirit and your very good English skills on a daily basis due to our multicultural and multi-site team.
- You are very familiar with our development toolkit:
- Linux
- C, C++, Python
- Git, Jenkins
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Agile methodology
- In the best case you can also support us with your experience in:
- Kernel driver development
- Uboot
- Docker
- Gerrit
- Yocto
